Sir, I am an ENT Surgeon.i purchased a honda activa scooter from satnam honda, tonk phatak jaipur, on 27 may.since then the battery is not working properly.at the time of my first service i mentioned the people at workshop about the problem but they din't considered it well. on 13 sept i went again and talked to the supervisor.after examing the battery he told me that it is not working properly and had to be changed by EXIDE.So i have to leave it and asked me to call after three days.after three days i called them but the result was unsatisfactory, "exide me battery stock me available nahin hai, time lagega.icalled after 7 days and the reply the same.next day i recieved a call and he asked me to come to workshop.i was shocked to see that it was the same battery. Exide had returned it back and added anote." BATTERY OK & RETURNED" I was upset and returned back.after 4-5 days, the same pproblem occured and it was not taking self start..on kicking the scooter my foot got injured and i had to go for an XRAY FOOT on 5sept.orthopaedian told me that i got strain on my foot and i had to take best rest for atleast 4 weeks with a plaster.being a surgeon, i was unable to see my patient and i couldn't attend my operation theatre. i went back to satnam honda and asked them about the problem. they replied, " hum kuch nahi kar sakte". what shoul i do know? i purcahsed this scooter as it is considered female friendly and get easily self start but it had really disappointed me.i have purchased it from HONDA and not EXIDE.is it not the responsibility of honda to get the battery replaced. my vehicle is still in warranty period still they are not considering the matter.
