I HAVE A HONDA CB TWISTER PURCHASED ON 20TH AUGUST FROM BOLPUR, SANTINIKETAN. RECENTLY I HAD TO BRING THE VEHICLE TO MALDA BECAUSE OF MY JOB. ON 30TH JULY I FOUND THE MOTOR CYCLE IS HAVING SOME PROBLEM. I WENT TO THE LOCAL HONDA SHOWROOM i.e. "NEW HONDA, MALDA-732103". THERE I WAS INFORMED THAT CLUTCH PLATE IS NEEDED TO BE CHANGED. AS MY BIKE WAS UNDER THE 1 YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD, I DEMANDED A FREE SERVICE. BUT THEY REFUSED AND ASKED FOR RUPEES 700. SO I WAS FORCED TO GIVE MY MOTOR CYCLE TO A LOCAL GARAGE FOR SERVICING INSTEAD OF THE SHOWROOM. I HAVE A HIGH NEED OF THE VEHICLE AS I AM A JOURNALIST BY PROFESSION. NOW, I WANT A REPLY FROM YOUR END THAT WHY THE SHOWROOM REFUSED TO GIVE A FREE SERVICE THOUGH MY VEHICLE WAS UNDER THE WARRANTY PERIOD. I ALSO DEMAND A COMPENSATION FOR THE AMOUNT WHICH I WILL NEED TO PAY IN THE GARAGE AND ALSO FOR THE INCONVENIENCE I HAD TODAY AND GOING TO HAVE IN NEXT 2-3 DAYS AS I WILL GET BACK MY MOTOR CYCLE ONLY AFTER 2-3 DAYS. I WILL PROVIDE A SCAN COPY OF ALL THE DOCUMENTS OF MY VEHICLE IF YOU ASK FOR. I WILL BE WAITING FOR YOUR RESPONSE IN THIS REGARD. THANK YOU.
