I bought a new Honda City automatic with sunroof last month and have driven it only 1500kms. Since the very first week i noticed the car's fuel range meter and fuel gauge are not working properly and the fuel efficiency is also not more than 9.5 kms in city driving condition against company claims of 15kmpl in city conditions.
The complaint was brought into notice on the very first free service but nothing was done by the dealer " Courstey Honda, Okhla, New Delhi".
The complaitn persisted so i took the car to them again on last Thursday i.e. four days back but even till today i.e. four days on - they have not been able to rectify my complaint, not been able to reply with a concrete answer, not been able to return my car, rather they have spoilt the leather interiors of the car and are claiming that the car has no complaint at all..
According to them the car range meter shows zero range even if the fule tank still has about 10 litres of petrol, - which is totally a non technical and non convincing answer to me.
My car number is DL 8C BK 7777, registered in the name of Dhiraj Navani.
PLease some one help me in the matter and get my car repaired or the faulty parts replaced and return my car. I never ever dreamt that a company like Honda or their dealer will take customer complaints so lightly and hold on to new cars for so many days.
