Dear Sir,

Sub: Collection of extra amounts for Registration - Reg

I have purchased a suzuki access vehicle on 23-09 from your company. Your people have collected an amount of Rs. 700/- towards the permanent registration charges of vehicle. After continuous follow up for about one month your people have given a cell number 8686799970 belongs to one Mr. Venkatesh who was entrusted with the job of Registration of my vehicle, from your show room. He also dragged the matter for about another one month without doing the job. I myself personally visited your showroom and asked to return the amount and papers so that I will get it on my own as almost two months elapsed.

After that, MR. Venkatesh informed me over phone to pay Rs. 600/- to one Mr. Amal Raju with cell no.9640818698 towards 1.Rs. 200/- for notary charges for address proof 2. Rs. 200/- for postal charges and 3. Rs. 200/- for declaration etc., I paid Rs. 200/- cash to Amal Raju for notary charges and I said balance Rs. 400/- will be paid at the time of registration. Then Amal Raju informed me to go to RTA office on 03-12 and meet one Mr. Shyam to whom the file was handed over. When I went and met him he said that he didn't receive the same. Again I spoke to Venkatesh and he said to come on 07-12 to RTA office, Uppal. Mr. Shyam completed the registration on 07-12 and asked me to pay Rs. 400/- as MR. Venkatesh informed him to collect the same. I paid the said amount by cash as there is no alternative.

I received the receipt from RTA dept. for Rs. 410/- for all expenses for registration of my vehicle. whereas Mr. venkatesh collected Rs. 600/- extra amount from me. I observed while signing on the application, that there was no notary affidavit enclosed, only electricity bill given by me was enclosed, no declaration found and postal charges were only Rs. 25/- as per the receipt, against which this man collected Rs. 200/- all these amounts are in addition to Rs. 700/- already paid by me at the time of purchasing the vehicle. Even that amount it self is Rs. 290/- extra from the actual charges. A total amount of Rs. 1300 collected as against the actual charges of Rs. 410/- as per the receipt of RTA dept. i.e., an extra amount of Rs. 890/- has been collected from me either by your people or your representative Mr. Venkatesh.

Had it been informed to me about these amounts, at the time of taking the vehicle, I would have done it on my own.

Apart from it, your people has not given the receipt for Rs. 1890/- as against the total cost of the vehicle paid by me.

So, please refund the extra amount of Rs. 890/- to me immediately or arrange to refund the same from your representative MR. Venkatesh who collected the extra amounts unauthorizedly by saying the above stories, as it amounts to cheating the customers.
