Yesterday, i.e. 3rd June my bike stopped at the middle of the road due to heavy rain, while i was driving back home from office in the evening. I parked it at a safe place and thought of taking an Auto Rickshaw to go back home. This Auto Rickshaw picked me from Pashan Road on the condition that i have to pay 20 Rs. extra over the meter, i had no choice and had to agree as i was waiting for a rickshaw from past 1 hr without cell phone and wallet. When i reached bavdhan, i realized something wrong is there with the Meter, it was moving very fast. From Aditya Shagun, Bavdhan to Chandni Chowk, the reading iincreased by 3 kms. I frustatedly told him that i will not pay him this much and will also complain against him. He tried to negotiate over the charges and told me it was just by mistake meter ran fast. But when i did not agree he did not return back the remaining amount from the 100rs note that i gave him. And told me that since you are already complaining then let me charge the full amount.
His vehicle no. is MH12, FA, 4100
I request to please check his meter so that others cant be fooled.
In India, the people have adopted this mindset that nothing can be done against them and no complaint is taken seriously. That is why people dont have the fear for the Law. But with some hope i am writing this complain.
