Fraud on insurance

Hello to all readers of this website... this note is just to make sure to all of you dont fall in trap of fraud done by some peoples regarding auto insurance... recently i was victim of same... One of the guy called me and said he is calling from swadeshi motors and your insurance is due.. these guys came to my office and collected amount of insurance and had given me cover note of IFFO TOKIO, after 30 days or so when i enquired about my policy papers i came to know that i have been given fake cover note and those guys were also fake... so i just want that be very careful when u guys do same cross check everything. thanks
