Sub: Petition received from rk377749 Reg:
Ours is a social welfare organization rendering service for justice to general public. We received a petition from rk377749 regarding LPG problems at Armoor.
On our preliminary enquiry, we have the following facts :
1) The letter sent by rk377749 to the gas companies, press & officials is true.
2) Vamshi (HPGas), Savera (Bharatgas), Balkonda (Indanegas) are the outlets supplying LPG domestic (14.2kg) cylinders in this area.
3) Regarding misuse in hotels, almost all hotels are using them.
4) Regarding misuse for 2kg/5kg cylinders, super markets viz Padma&Parashuram are using them.
5) Regarding misuse for cars/vans which is rampant, a refill cylinder is sold by
the retail outlet to car mechanics (listed below) @ Rs 400 which in turn is sold to the vehicle owner @ Rs 500-600 per refill. 6) The company authorities of HPGas & Bharatgas have enquired &asked
their outlets for explanation. The explanation given is totally false & misleading. We
feel that “ NO ACCUSED IS GUILTY UNLESS PROVEN.” Hence a thorough & impartial secret enquiry is needed.
7) We do not have to inform you that the Essential Commidities Act 1955
Section 6-A & Section 7 be utilized to punish the offenders & do justice to the
commom citizen.
8) Our earnest request to you is to utilize the help of the elected members/political parties/ government officials viz civil supplies, police, RTA, vigilance & press in this regard.
We hope & pray that sincere & timely action will be taken.
