In Railway reservation forms, they ask preference of seats/ berth you require while reserving your berth also in onlin booking also the site asks your preferred seats.

I had booked 4 berths in 2tier AC in Purna Express from Pune to Ernakulam on 22nd May and back on 30th May.

Since our family is going, I needed all the 4 berths in the cabin of 4, ie no side seat. To get this I was first in queue for reservation 90 days in advance for both the reservations, but in both cases I got only 2 cabin seats and the other 2 side seats. Also after booking I saw that there was enough seats balance for reservation.

When asked to station master he said, it is computer selected and no booking clerk can reserve preferred seats.

My complaint is that if the berth selection is computer logic, THEN REMOVE THE BERTH PREFERENCE COLOMNS IN RESERVATION FORMS AS WELL AS ONLINE BOOKING.
