Non refund of money after cancellation

Hi sir,

I booked a flight ticket on 25th april PNR No. FC8NAW.It was booked at around 6.30 in the morning and the flight was scheduled to depart at 9.20 am the same day.due to unavoidable circumstances The passenger managed to reach the airport at 9.00 am and she was not given the boarding pass saying that she should have been there 45 mins before the departure time to board the flight.

hence i called them up to cancel my flight ticket. Their response was "sorry sir we cannot cancel the flight ticket, u should have called us before 2 hrs of the flight departing time."..

I want to know are their policies jus framed to loot the customers coz m loosing all my money without using the service..Is this fair??

I request you to please look into this and take necessary steps. I will be really gratefull..
