IRCTC's e-Ticketing Service
Excessive service charge

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I had purchased 2 railway tickets bearing PNR Nos.- 6445735927 and 2211750241 for a local train and Rajdhani express respectively on 08-10-10 from M/S Jyoti Electricals, Haflong, N.C.Hills Distt., Assam via IRCTC's e-Ticketing Service. In spite of the mentioned agent service charges in the print-ticket being Rs.10/- and Rs.20/- for second class and higher class respectively, the agent had charged me Rs.20/- and Rs.50/- for the same and handed out cheap looking cash memos. He refused to abide by the written service charges and said that the charges were according to the ticket fare. I request the IRCTC officials to kindly look into the matter as it seems that this practice is prevalent everywhere and punish these agents for robbing the hard earned money of the common people and more importantly defaming IRCTC. The agent in my case is Mr. Asoke Sil, E-mail id: [email protected], user id: gitl5286, cell no.-9435078241.
