The on line reservation system web site is being blocked by the railway officials to help the travel agents to book bulk number of Tatkal tickets. I tried in so many occasions and every attempt was unsucessful. At the same time travel agents are able to book the tatkal tickets qite easily. When we go in person to book the tickets there was a huge queue, even when we go in the early morning 4 AM. But seperate queue system is provided for travel agents in Chennai central railway reservation centre. One has to pay huge amount as commision for travel agents to get tatkal tickets. when common people are standing in queue from 4 AM onwards what is the necessity for railways to have seperate queue for travel agents.
Common public can not get tickets for the following days/occsaions
Fridays and sundays
Festival holidays.
I seriously doubts top railway officials are commiting fraud and makking huge money with the help of travel agents. i have mailed the complaints to Railway ministry also along with specific details.
