I had a confirmed ticket for a Mumbai-Chennai flight on the 1st of August at 3:20pm.we checked in at 2:30 pm way before the 30 min prior departure policy of jet airways. We were informed that the flight was overbooked and we would not get seats on this flight. At first the staff said we had checked in late but we knew this was not correct. Later, they agreed to put us on a different flight. They put us on an Air India flight flying out at 5:50 pm although there was an earlier jet airways flight. I want to know what i can do to make jet airways compensate for causing such problems. I have never come across staff that spoke to me in such a threatening tone.
