I, the undersigned, had hired ‘M/s. Jindal Packers and Movers’, Pune for the movement of my goods from Pune to Mumbai. The representative from the firm's side was one gentleman named Mandeep (I am not aware of his last name. Contact no.: 91-98239-86530, 91-97627-98555). I wanted to complain about the services offered, which were not just below expectations, turns out that the concerned person is running it under a fake name and they have no relation with the Delhi based firm with the same name.
The cost splits were not explained in detail by Mandeep despite repeated requests. When the bill was presented, there were 2 components worth Rs.500 in total which were charged.
The workers sent behaved rudely with my father, plus they barely packed any of my big wooden furniture stating it is not required. I had to call your Pune office to get the same done.
I was repeatedly requested by Mandeep to get purchase an insurance policy. He promised that the policy’s scanned copy will be emailed to me within an hour.By the time the goods reached Mumbai, they policy was not purchased, but I was charged Rs.400 for the same. When called, Mandeep started rejecting my calls. I called up the Pune office, spoke with a person who claimed to be the Marketing Executive, who gave me a wrong number when asked for your head-office’s contact details. I deserve a refund of this amount.
Kindly look into this matter and suggest the further course of action.
