I went to K Paramasivan Bharat Petroleum bunk in Guindy on March 30 around 5.45 PM. I asked the attender to fill Petrol worth Rs.500 for my bike. I was very clear in what I said, he nodded his head and started filling petrol. He placed the gun in the petrol tank and after a few seconds nodded his head, as if he had filled the petrol. He started taking back the gun and was about to place it on the instrument. I stopped him and said that he was supposed to fill petrol for Rs.500 but the meter reading displayed Rs.100. He acted as if he was surprised and said ok sir let me fill the rest. He started typing Rs.400 on the instrument. I stopped him and asked him to call the Bunk Manager immediately. He tried to stop me by blabbering something. I was very clear and said I want to speak to the manager. He then said, sorry sir I will fill petrol now. Manager arrived and I explained the issue. The attender understood that he was supposed to fill petrol Worth Rs.500 but intentionally he typed Rs.100 on the instrument and placed the gun in the tank. He did not fill even a drop of petrol. Then he acted as if he was surprised when I asked him that I wanted petrol for Rs.500 and not Rs.100. He said to me that he had filled petrol for Rs.100 and he fill the remaining Rs.400 worth petrol.
But after hearing this the attender replied to the manager that he did not fill any petrol and was going to fill petrol for Rs.500.
These people do not understand the value of money. Petroleum companies keep increasing the petrol prices and bunk in turn cheap the public. They tried to cheat Rs.100 from me. I came across another complaint in the same forum where a person named Nagarajan has updated a similar complaint on the same petrol bunk. I wonder if anyone will take any action on the petrol bunk. These cheaters should not be left. I was really annoyed with the incident. I had filled petrol numerous times in the same bunk and had seen this happening. Rs.200 petrol was filled as, Rs.50 and then Rs.150. I was completely unaware of this issue and I feel now that I have lost much in the same bunk. Please take some action on the bunk which is cheating public.
