My name is Taru Luederitz - Dalmia. I was booked on flight from Delhi to Zagreb via Doha on the 29th of August. The flight from Delhi was delayed by 2 hours. The local supervisor Vikas blatantly lied to me and told me that the connecting flight to Zagreb would be delayed as well and that i would still make my flight. I was incredulous but upon his word I did not cancel any of my meetings. Upon arriving at Doha i was told that there was no connection flight and that i would have to spend the night in Doha and could fly out only the next day. This is exactly what i had tried to avoid. I had told you Delhi staff, Vikas, that i wanted to avoid spending the night in Doha at all cost. I would have prefered to take the Lufthansa flight or simply spend another day in Delhi and take the flight the follwing day. i feel i was lied to because Vikas was feeling hassled by me. Furthermore, i could not cancel my booking for a hotel in Zagreb on the 29th. I expect Qatar Airways to compensate me for the loss i have incurred and reimburse me for an amount of 42 Euro that i am spending on the hotel in Zagreb.
