I don’t want to brag on this, but want to bring this in your attention.
I am a self acclaimed Maruti Loyal customer, This time also when I planned to buy a new car I went directly to Mahalakshmi Automobiles, Maruti Authorised Dealer in Pune, Located at ICC trade Tower, S.B Road.
When I stepped into the showroom I was planning to buy Wagon R LXI Model but after knowing the 18K discount going on, I changed my mind to go for VXI variant.
At the showroom sales person told me that I will get 18K discount as consumer cash offer Corporate Discount. On top of that he offered my some basic accessories along with filming. So the total on road price after discounts was around 4.27 Lacs. I was pretty Happy and walked out of the showroom with great impression of dealership.
, in afternoon when I went there for booking with all the required documents they said the consumer cash discount is of 14K instead of 18K, I was “Whatttttttt” in morning you told me its 14K now you are telling 14K, Iam almost ready for booking.
So in excuse of this mistake done by Sales advisor their sales manager told me that in morning according to the mail “we received by the company (Maruti India Pvt. Ltd.) the discount was 18K but in afternoon we got another mail and according to that the discount is now 14K on VXI variant and as you have not booked your car we can’t give you a discount of 18K”.
I am not understanding whether they are trying to make fool out of me or what? In this way they are loosing one of their customer and to some extent it also affects Maruti as a company. I know Loosing one single customer is not big deal for your company but for me actually it is going to be the lose of my last 15 years of faith, believe and comfort with Maruti.
Now I am in a confusion where to go. I guess you should intervene in the matter and do the needful.
