POOR LIFE OF ENGINE

My wife purchased a car SWIFT VXi in JUN. This was from the first lot of Swift Cars, after launching, recd at Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

Chasis No.104564.Total run of this car so far is 92623 KM.In such a short run Engine has failed and we have spent approx 36K for complete overhaul of Engine. After purchase of car each and every servicing and repair is carried out at Maruti's authorised Service center, Automotive Manufacturers Pvt Ltd., AURANGABAD-431006.

In a petrol vehicle I have never heard of Engine overhaul at such a SHORT RUN.

This should be a world record of poorest Engine life in Suzuki's History.

If somebody is aware of still lower life, please share with me.

I feel that when Swift was launched in India, Second quality engines must have been pushed to India, by Suzuki, taking Indians for Granted.

Suzuki should investigate this premature failure of engine and collect data/feedback from their service centers on all initial vehicles.
