Non refund against WL ticket

I booked a Rly.ticket for my wife Mrs. Arifa Ahmed (55) from Guwahati to Jorhat by Train No. 2067 for journey to be performed on 30-05-09. It was an waitlisted ticket (WL.11). As the ticket was not confirmed she could not perform the journey and submitted the ticket for refund. After several followups the booking office gave a formal application form which was submitted on 17-06-09 to the CCM (Refund) NF Rly. Maligaon for refund of the fare of Rs. 420/=

I took up the matter even at GM level and in response the Asstt. Commercial Manager CR vide his letter of dated 09-12 sought certain particulars which was provided vide my letter of dated 20-12-09. Neither refund nor any communication is received till date. This is simply a harrasment given to a bonafide passenger and demand refund against the WL ticket. Such callousness on the part of Rly. Admn.is simply deplorable.
