I own a Tata Indica which is 6 years old and not used much. I give it for servicing once a year or more. The last time I gave it for service, there was no unusual sound coming from the car even during the test drive taken before the car was accepted for service. In fact I had no complaint regarding the working of the car. However, when I went to pick up the car I was told that there was a slight sound coming from the car because of suspension problem and it would cost about 20, 000 to set it right!
After that over the next few days I received call from Om Sai and from someone who claimed to be from Tata Motors Pune. I told them that I was not happy and that I felt I have been cheated. The caller from Om Sai promised me that she will ask the engineer who serviced the car to call me back, which he did not. Tthe next time I got a call from Om Sai I asked that the owner/ceo Mr. Uday Shetty should call me regarding this matter. Needless to say, neither of them called.
Mr. Pradeep Shetty was the engineer who has played this dirty trick on me. I feel that it is because I am a woman and a senior citizen that I am being taken advantage of.
