Location: Pay and Park @ Pune Railway Station (Next to Le Meridian)
Description:
- I had parked my scooter on 26th March @ 7 AM.
- I was given a token receipt with printed charges of Rs 5/- for every 6 hours or part thereof.
- A display board is also displayed with the same rates. (Rs. 5/- for every 6 hours or part thereof).
- However, When I returned on 27th March @ 8:30 PM, The parking contractor demanded more money than actual.
- I had parked my scooter for around 38 hours, so, I ideally, I should be paying Rs. 35/- towards the parking charges.
- but the contractor started demanding Rs 50/- and also was aggressive and using foul language.
- When I protested his action, he took Rs. 40/- but did not return the excess amount, and stated that it was only for me, that he gave a discount of Rs 10/-.
I urge the railway authorities to take strict action against such malpractices, and take action against these irregularities.
