I booked my scooter regn No. MP 20 KB 6871 from Delhi Jn to Jammu Tawi on 25/11 vide Railway receipt No A-2185567 (3110 631675) for self delivery at Jammu Tawi. I travelled in Train No. 12413 Pooja Express vide PNR No. 224-1221978. Staff at Delhi Jn was supposed to load the scooter in the same train since I did not pay bribe to any staff at Delhi Jn. as such I could not get delivery of my scooter at Jammu Tawi the next day ie 26/11 which caused me a lot of harassment. But the scooter was perhaps depatched on the following day or so. My contact No. was clearly given in the address plate hanging in the head light. Helplessly, the staff at Jammu Tawi was requested to inform me as soon as the scooter reaches Jammu Tawi, so that I could arrange collection but no one informed me. When I came Jammu Tawi parcel office on 28/11, they charged me Rs 270/- as penalty charges vide receipt No 584345 dt 28/11. I am astonished to know that bribe / corruption is mandatory to be paid official / unofficial. Had I paid some money to staff at Delhi Jn., my scooter could have been loaded in the same train. Concerned authorities are requested to pay kind attention and may get the matter investigated, punish the defaulters involved and also arrange suitable compensation for the harassment and penalty so imposed.
