URGENT: Reversal of ticket PNR NO- 4202209268

Hi

I had sent various reminders to the Railway department regarding my refund since the past 1 year, but have been receiving the following reply everytime -

"Sorry for the inconvenience. Kindly note that your refund case of PNR No. 4202209268 has been forwarded to CCM/Central Railway on dt. 29.04.09. We have already issued Reminder No. 1 dt. 09.04.09 to concerned railway to chase up the case. But despite reminder refund yet not received from the concerned railway. Now we are sending a Reminder No. 2 dt. 07.05.09 with all the papers pertaining to your refund case to concerned railway to chase up the cases. As soon as refund, if any, received it will be credited to your card account.."

This seems to be an auto response and I feel that the Railway dept is not bothered to even look at this case uptil now. According to railway policy, they assure a refund within 90 days of cancelling a ticket and this case is well above 1 year now! This behaviour is completely unacceptable and I really need to get this matter sorted immediately.

I request you to look into this matter and help me in getting my refund back. Pl view the follow- up email for more details.

Below is the follow-up email that I had with the Railway department:

As soon as refund, if any, received it will be credited to your card account.."

This seems to be an auto response and I feel that you have not bothered to even look at this case uptil now. According to your policy, you assure a refund within 90 days of cancelling a ticket and this case is well above 180 days now! This behaviour is completely unacceptable and I really need to get this matter sorted immediately.

I request you to look into this matter and issue a refund immediately, OR I may be forced to take legal action against your department.

When I checked the status on Sunday 16/11 it was partially confirmed (1 ticket was confirmed out of 4 tickets). Since the ticket was not completely confirmed, we didn't board the train.
