Defect in Reverse Light

Dear Marketing / Customer Care Manager,

I, Dr. V.K.Kapoor (Senior citizen) have purchased a Hyundai I20 Sportz DRL Model 2012 from Hand Hyundai Moti Nagar, New Delhi on 9/12 . The delivery of the car was given on 12/12 . After driving the car home it was noticed that the right side reverse light was not functioning. The matter was immediately reported to the sales division Hans Hyundai. The person incharge Mr. Tushar Malhotra (the person who book the car .) informed us that the problem is by default and as such this should be treated as the model of the car. The reply given was very asburt and unconvincing and therefore we contacted the Sales Manager at the showroom who also gave a similar reply.

The logic given by the sales department was very casual and he did not even try to consult the technical division or higher ups to rectify the problem. I understand this may be the first car model in the whole world which has only 1 reverse light and instead of recifying the problem an illogical and unconvincing reply is being given and the customer is being forced to accept it. If I had known this defect I would not have bought the car.

I therefore request you to kindly look into the matter immediately and do the needful to rectify the problem as soon as possible. As this is creating a problem while I am driving.
