I have booked an activa wide registration number 3940 at Apple Honda, Opposite Mahvir Hall, Ajwa Road, Baroda in the month of November. At that time, they said that it will take around 4-5 months and the showroom would sent an sms on the mobile number of the customer. I personally visited the showroom in the first week of April. They told me that it will be itimated during the month of April. Again after waiting for the whole month, when no sms was received from the showroom, on 4th May i again went in person. After waiting for sometime, the sales girl showed me a list saying that the company had already made a call on 23rd march but no one had received. When asked about follow up, she simply refused on the grounds that it is not their policy. Also, she asked the me to check my mobile system. When I asked for the owner, she called him up and then informed me that now, come on 10th of May and make the payment and after 15 days, your vehicle will arrive. When asked for complain box, she said you can make your complain but did not show the complain box.
My complain is also same as other two people who are known to me. They have also been given the same reason. First the showroom is deviating from the policy of sms, second they do not intimate the customers again except for the first call, thirdly, they are not prompt in delivery of the goods meant for the customer and forthly, what happens when a customer pays all the cash in advace for 15 days. Who is to pay the interst of around 50 thousand rupees?
I have came to know that Mr Ankur Shah (Jain) is the owner of Apple Honda. Many citizens like me fall prey to such kind of practices which are detremental to the customers. No policy is provided to the customer at the time of registration.
