Cheap quality at Superior prices

I bought a pair of bellies from Bata (Shalimar Bagh) for Rs. 1200 dated 24th April. My bellies broke after only one time wear. I complained to the showroom manager and he explained 'He cannot help' as I dnt have the bill details. and why should I have it anyway when I am paying for quality... Should i keep the bill for if it breaks down?

The billing details can however be confirmed form the showroom. I am shocked... Bata supplying such cheap quality footwear. I want a compensation for the same at the earliest.
