Shrinked T-shirt return

I buyied a T-shirt 2 weeks back and i wore it only twice and it got shrinked. When i gave the T-shirt back to the showroom. They refused to take it back. I lost 800 rupees on that tshirt and its a large amount.

How can they refuse to take it back?

i've decided not to buy clothes from this company any more.
