My brother Gaurav Jain bought 2 shirts from Koutons Store in Pacific Mall (Koutons Retail Ltd, G-7 & 8, Pacific Mall, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, TIN No 09650001922) in the mid of May. When we gave a trial of the shirts at home, we find one shirt defective from shoulder’s side. We both revisited your Koutons store on 22nd May to get the shirt exchanged. We were in a great shock when we get to bear the rude behaviour of shop owner sitting at the cash counter. They were husband wife. He blamed us that we used the shirt and get it roughfud/ repaired from where it was torn. We tried to make him understand that we are well-off and having good social status. We cannot wear a torn shirt at all and we actually didn’t. We were thinking of calling to the police at that very moment but we didn’t (I don’t know why we hesitated). He bluntly denied to exchange the shirt. When we pushed him a bit, he suggested that he can exchange the shirt once he get the same shown to the area sales manager Mr Yogesh (Mob – 9312298036). We asked the mobile number of Yogesh and get the same instantly. We tried calling him 100 time but in vain. The bell was ringing but he didn’t pick up the phone. Ultimately we handed over the shirt and the price tag to the shopkeeper. In exchange what we got is just this receipt (which I scanned and attached in this email). He asked us to contact him at his number 0120-4118565 next week. We called him up on 29th May but he denied to get the shirt exchanged. His behaviour was like we are thieves or some poor fellow and he is of some very supreme class. So can you please help us in this matter. I am sure with his attitude and worse behaviour, that shopkeeper is sinking your brand name. I am having 14 shirts of Koutons which I bought from several stores. This was the 1st time we bought it from Pacific Mall which is in UP. From this incident, myself and my brother has decided not be but any Koutons product in future – that is for sure. What I now want is just the refund of my shirt and if possible refund for both of my shirts (I haven’t wore my 2nd Koutons shirt since this incident happened). Can I seek your immediate action on this matter please?
