Etechies.in a so called very professional is big cheaters. I purchased a laptop HP-dv4 series in january and after almost two years i had a problem of white display. Then i received a call from etechies of Ms. Divya explaining about features of etechies and all. I explained her my problem that since last i am facing a problem of white display but the sound of windows is coming then she told me that is just you have not get it serviced since two years. This was the first time the problem arises in my laptop in last two years. She conveyed that we provide doorstep service for which we charge Rs. 1360/- and guy will come from etechies and get it cleared in-front of you. I also said OK to her as they were coming to my doorstep and my laptop was out of warranty also. A guy came and started my laptop then again the same problem of white display with windows sound. He told me that he have to take to the service center and it is irreparable here. I asked to write each part serial number on the papers over here but he denied by saying that as there is white display so he can not write the down serial number on the papers as for that he needs the screen. I was not having the knowledge of the same i said OK but he said i can write down the serial number of the laptop. After three four days when i didn't hear anything from their side i called them on there toll free numbers 18001023311 hundred times but no response from there also. Then i called them on the number from where i received a call in the starting. Then the guy SANDEEP sitting over there told me that you motherboard, hard disk and on/off button is damaged and you have to pay approx Rs. 17000 to get it repaired. I was shocked and scattered as when i deposited my laptop to them everything was working. There was a problem of white and now they are telling me all together a different story. I asked them a question that how this thing is possible but they didn't any concrete answer but replied me that we are not responsible for that. I asked them to deliver my laptop then they replied that we were unable to deliver your laptop and i have to go there service to pick my laptop. I paid them Rs. 1360 for pick and drop service and they were not ready to deliver my laptop also. Somehow they delivered the same to my place with no display. The another shocking news were that when i opened my laptop and find that the hard disk was changed and was not mine hard disk which i deposited to them. They changed my hard disk also and told me that your hard disk is changed. This is came to know when a guy came from HP authorized center to my opened it in front of me. He told me that this hard disk is not your laptop hard disk. The hard disk which was replaced by my hard disk was wrapped by celotape from four sides and ll the screws were also not there and CMOS cell was also missing from laptop. I immediately reported the same thing to ETECHIES and ran to there service station. The person over there who serviced my laptop i think his name was Mr. Shiv Kumar firstly denied that the hard disk is yours only and then afterwards he admitted that this hard disk doesn't belong to your laptop but we have not replaced it. It may be replaced by some one else.
A big time cheater they are, i mean this was the first time my laptop faced this time of problem and was the first service center to whom i gave it for repair that too in a working condition and now they were telling me that my motherboard, hard disk and on/off button is damaged. They actually replaced my hard disk with some other hard disk and asking money for it.
They are big time cheaters and want justice. Please help me out.
CONSUMER PLEASE BEWARE OF THESE TYPE OF ORGANIZATIONS. THEY ALL ARE FRAUDS AND CHEATERS...
But i must say ki jisne bhi yeh harkat kari hai woh kutte ki maut marega. Keede langengey.
