I purchased HP G-62 Notebook on 03 Nov from a retailer in Gorakhpur (U.P.) and there was festival offer on the same for Rs - worth gift from Addidas. I was informed to log in on www.hp.com/promotion, which I did and was guided by web to register my product, after doing so even I was prompted to open my login accout which I did eventually. There was no feedback from the site and on revisiting the shop on 20 November I was told that offer was valid till 15 Nov. This was not a problem as I had already registered on the site. But on further querries I was informed that now my claim for offer is not valid as I have not send the cuttings of the packing. Now I was totaly at loss as this was never told to me neither was prompted by the site.
Inspite of my various attempts I could not locate any contact on the hp website to whom to address my complaint and site itlself prooved to be most unhelpful.
Now I am planning to present my case in Consumer court. This is my last effort to solve it otherwise.
