Very slow

I have purchace an Idea high speed internet connection i.e.net setter high speed EDGE/GPRS Mobile internet wireless data speedup to 236.8kbps and Iam getting only 40.6kbps, no response from the company after complain to IDEA please suggest what to do. Now I have To Say AN IDEA CAN DESTROY YOUR LIFE.
