Gps type gadget

I bought a dell 1558 laptop, and it has been theft just 2 months after i bought it, i informed dell customer care representatives for any gps type gadget integrated in it but they said there were no any such gadget in that laptop by which we can track it, i made a complaint in police station but didnot got any positive response, so the company should think about it, when a cellphone which cost much less than a laptop can have facilities like tracker and gps then why cant a laptop
