Dual Battery home UPS service not received

I bought a Microtek Dual Battery UPS about a year back and the UPS stopped working since October. Hence I logged a complaint to Microtek Service Center on the 4th of November. Till today I have not received any service from them. At first I asked them to kindly send the service engineer on Saturday, since I would be available only on Saturday and Sunday. But he never turned up. Then I called them again and again several times, but they repeatedly promised to send the engineer on the same day, but that never happened. On top of that, every time we call them up, they are mentioning that your warranty is over Sir, though actually it was not the case. Once we asked them to check on that, they used to say, "Sorry Sir, the warranty is valid till November, December onwards the warranty is not there". It has been an extreme harrassment for me. I even wrote a complaint mail to their Head Office in Delhi, but nothing happened. I logged a complaint with www.core.nic.in but to my surprise, they have updated the ticket status as resolved, though nothing has been done on the ticket at all. I have doubt in the Consumer Complaint website now as well. My complaint number in CCore is 6546/2. I would strongly suggest to everybody PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING ANY MICROTEK PRODUCT. Because service is not available at all, though the company promises one or two years of warranty. The company is very good at breaking promises.
