Very late response to complain

My laptop got some problem at 9/7 i had complained to the company (acer) at same date.the engineer had come for visit at 11/7 and told me that there was a need to change a hardware part and it would take 7 days to get the part from the company, but it is now 21/7 and i receive a call from company that the part is dispatched today and it will take one week to reach kanpur and then the complain will be resolved.thus i lost my 17-18 days due to disturbance in my studies without my laptop.this give me a lot of mental harassment.i am doing my m.tech. from h.b.t.i.kanpur and without laptop i am unable to continue my study.please help me
