Respected Sir,

This is regarding excess electric bill we are getting sine December. We had replaced our meter in October and since then we are

receiving monthly electric bill of more than 2500 Rs, and now its almost more than 3000 Rs. Before October it use to come between 600-700 Rs. I want to know why

this sudden hike

I was out of india since last 3 years and was shocked to see the hike in my monthly electric bill when i came back.

As middle class people we absolutely cannot afford such hig bills, especially when our electrical consumption doen't even amount

to a fraction of what is being charged from us

Our previous meter number is C033032 and new meter (which we are currently using) number is F061551.

I request you to please look in this matter seriously and get our meter replace since i am sure it's a faulty meter.

I have lodged a complaint with BEST but i am not getting any positive response from them.

I appreciate if this matter of unfair excess billing is resolved at the earliest.
