Dear Sir/Ma’am,
This is regarding the delay in shipment delivery sent through Blue Dart. I have sent following two couriers (some important documents which were very urgent) from Hyderabad to Noida -
1) Way Bill No - 13102141043, Hyderabad to Noida, Date: 02/02
2) Way Bill No - 13102037196, Hyderabad to Noida, Date: 08/02
They charge the highest possible price for their services while committing to deliver the document within 24 hours, but every time, it took atleast two days to deliver after repeated follow ups.
Case:
1) Way Bill No – 13102141043, sent on 02/02. When I tracked the shipment status online on 03/02, it says – “Delivery Attempted-Consignee Premises Closed” (although consignee was available at the given address and he didn’t receive any call from Blue Dart. Note: two mobile no’s of consignee were mentioned on the shipment). After that I called Customer service and asked about the shipment, then they had no clue. Finally it got delivered on 04/02 late evening after repeated follow ups.
2) Again, Way Bill No – 13102037196, sent on 08/02. Exact same story. On 09/02 - “Delivery Attempted-Consignee Premises Closed” and not delivered. On 10/02, I have been following it up since morning, and it has not reached till now.
I am extremely disappointed with Blue Dart Services as both times, I have sent it through Blue Dart because it was very urgent and both times it delayed. Why do these people charge so much (INR 280/- minimum although other courier would charge from INR 60 to INR 200 maximum) when they have no commitment and don’t understand the sense of urgency.
