Sub: Regarding the gas booking

Pl. see the details mentioned below regarding the LPG connection

I have booked the gas on 5th April through the website "http://www.tomogas.com/iocl" Since the gas was not delivered at home, I contacted the agency today (21st April). The Agency person said that website booking is not valid and you will have to book the gas again.

However, the WEBSITE DOES NOT SAY that booking is not allowed. Pl. clarify.

There should be a procedure so that consumer can know whether website booking or sms booking is valid or is been cancelled. Even today, the website allows the booking. Gas Agency says that it is not there responsibility to communicate to customer that website or SMS booking is not valid and it is company who should be informing the customer.

I want to know

(1) Whether the website booking is valid or not, as per this agency it is not valid.

(2) If it is not valid, then why there is no procedure either from Company or from agency

to make the customer aware of it. (A sms can be sent to customer for any such changes or announcement. )
