My name is Umesh Soni, I am a consumer of Indiane Gas Service from more than 15 years and from past 8 years I am living in Greater Noida where Kasna Indiane Gas Services is the distributor. My consumer ID is 010332, I booked two Indiane gas cylinders on 5th April and today on 22nd April 22 after two weeks when the men (one name harish) from the Kasna Indiane Gas Services come at my residence and first he refused me to for checking the weight and any leakage in the cylinder. Than on repeat request he finally checked one cylinder which was leaked. I asked him to check the weight of the cylinder on which he refused to do so and forced me to keep one of the leaked and inappropriate gas cylinders. On asking who will responsible for any disaster or mishappening occur he started abusing me and my family members. Than in exaggeration he took both cylinders with him and threatened me if I take any action. I immediately dialed their emergency leakage number i.e. 9873240936 which was unanswered eight times. Than I tried customer booking number which was either busy or unanswered for more than fifteen minutes I tried. So at last I went to the distributors office looking forward for there help. In the office Instead of helping and listening to my concern they also shouted and misbehaved with me, and told me that these cylinders are already checked from the company and who are you to check these cylinders. I told him it is the consumer’s right and we have to check the pressure and weight of the cylinders at the time of delivery. He told me that I am misbehaving and arguing. On putting the same question that who will responsible for any disaster, they told me that it happens everyday and not to disturb them for these petty issues. On asking about when they are going to send me the refilled cylinder they told me to go to the Indiane gas services head office in delhi from Greater Noida on vehicle and take any cylinder of my choice from there. On asking his name he got exasperated and told me to leave office. I am feeling so helpless now that I am looking forward for any help through you people. This is happening from past few months and we are the sufferers, because of the monopoly in distributorship. I don’t know whether this matter should escalate or not however I am still surprising after listening and seeing this casual and abrupt human behavior. The whole system is corrupted, they are not picking the telephonic calls neither to book the cylinder nor to listen any complaints. The in-charge and responsible person’s do not want to take effort to help consumers problem instead they only support there employee.
Indiane Gas Services is very reputed and esteem organization. Hence it is requested to you to kindly take necessary action against the responsible persons or I have to escalate this matter to the consumer court.
