I took Piped Gas Connection from Indraprastha Gas Limited for my Dwarka residence in 2008 and till date my meter reading is only a mere 1.10 units. This is because we generally do not stay at this address and only use is once in a while when we visit.

Since IPGL were blindly sending me bills every month for various amounts, I contacted their Customer Care and explained the billing errors. They have been giving me assurances till date that bills would ghet rectified and 1 year has already passed and I have not seen a rectified bill till date. They have not sent me a latest bills wherein the total outstanding is shown as Rs.2695.85 and also indicates the current meter reading as 210 units.

I cant understand how can a large company in public utility services behave like this and is there not any authority to check such practices.

Whenever the local IPGL executive visit to check the meter, they confirm that the billing is totally wrong and ask me to get in touch with their Head office who manage the billing.

As on date, since my meter reading is only 1.11 units and IPGL already have a credit balance of approx. Rs.1000/-, which were paid earlier without checking these billing errors, I request your authority to urgently look into the matter and help me resolve this issue.
