Respected Sir/Madam,
I am a subscriber of HP gas and the agency name is SRI NITHI GAS AGENCY (Phone Numbers: 044-2854 4856, 044-2851 4678) and my consumer number is 612196..
On 27.10.2011 I booked GAS REFILL through SMS and got the reply through SMS on 27.10.11 at 02:44PM stating -
"YOUR HP GAS REFILL BOOKING IS ACCEPTED. BOOKING NUMBER 228208. PENDING REFILL BOOKING CLEARED UP TO 15 AUG".
Then again I got SMS on 03.11.2011 at 10:38AM stating -
"REF: HP GAS BOOKING NO.228208
YOUR REFILL WILL BE DELIVERED WITHIN NEXT 48 HRs.
CASH MEMO DATE 02 NOV".
But today is 06.11.2011 and still i have not recieved the REFILL.
I have doubt as there is possibility of price hike for GAS REFILL so knowingly the agency has kept the REFILL pending and once the price hike is implemented then they may release the REFILL.
Or, i have one more doubt last time when the delivery person came to deliver the cylinder that time i was at home. I saw the reciept the price was quoted as Rs.494 so i paid Rs.500. but the delivery person was demanding Rs.520 which i denied to pay.
Rs.06 i paid just as tips but it become the habit for these delivery persons of asking minimum Rs20 extra and unfortunately the most consumers due to the fear that "THEY MAY NOT GET THE DELIVERY AT CORRECT TIME", they agree to pay the extra amount. Which i came to know while discussing with one of my neighbour. And I feel its a kind of corruption.
Yes if anyone pay extra amount as tips then its ok but when they pay this amount out of fear, I am very much against it.
Please help me in this regard and let me know what shall i do?
