Delay and harrassment in supply

I am a consumer of Indane gas (RM 07045) registered at Mithila Gas Agency, Shop No.4&5, A-73A, Sector 19, Noida Phone 4550348 and 4522160 .

I retired as Chairman of the Central Pollution Control Board. Since I was a member of the erstwhile Committee on Environmental Planning and Co-ordination, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, my card was assigned a VIP category. With winding up of the Committee and passage of time, the treatment given to me is becoming from bad to worse.

On 27 Dec we booked for supply of a filled cylinder to replace the empty one. On reminding on 06 January we were asked the booking number that we did not have. After we explained that the booking number was not given to us, it was promised to supply the cylinder on the same or next day on each occasion in which we succeeded in contacting the dealer on telephone. Finally, the cylinder has been supplied today on 11 January after remind at least ten times.

I would suggest that the dealer should convey the booking number without fail at the booking time rather than take advantage of the lack of this information with the consumer. I shall also appreciate if the dealer is advised to pay attention to my request for prompt supply in future.
