The UGC Authorities,
This is in reference of a website http://www.imaonline.in/ which states that this is a Virtual university in India. I am planning to enroll for a course in this university but I could not confirm about its status of authentication for granting degrees in India.
Later from some sources, I came to know that the degrees offered by this university are not UGC/AICTE/any other Indian Government Education Accreditation Authority. I am surprised to see that the university has more than ten institutes running under this offering different Bachelor and masters Degrres in multiple discipline including metallurgy, medical services, pharmaceuticals, nursing and many other fields of high responsibilities. I am in fact shocked to see that the unauthorized courses are running with the name of an unregistered Indian university the Virtual University.
I am not sure if it is legal to use the word “university” as a name of the organization without approval of UGC/AICTE in India.
Please see into the matter and take appropriate legal actions to stop selling of unauthorized education and save money and future of young generation. Of the country.
