REFUND OF REGISTRATION FEE-JEE-IIT

Dear Sir (s),

I have been alloted with integrated dual degree under JEE-IIT 2010 in IIT Roorkee by Chairman JEE-IIT Madras.. i have paid Rs. 40000/- Chairman JEE IIT Madras payble at chennai at the time of counselling As it was informed by the chairman JEE IIT Madras that the amount will be refunded if the candidate is not willing to join the allotted branch and did not report for admission at allotted IIT after deducting only processing fee of Rs. 1000/-

After seeing the second allotment, i have not joined in IIT Roorkee. Now, on approaching to IIT Roorkee and IIT Madras, they informed me that no refund will be made as decision taken by all IIT directors.

Sir, if such decision to be made, this should have taken before the counselling itself so that we would have taken the appropriate decision. Now if they say that the fees will not be refunded, we will be in huge lose because it is a hard earned money of my father who is an ex-serviceman who has dedicated his service for 20 years in defence.
