My two daughters are studying in Somerville School, Greater Nodia.
The school fee for both the wards were submitted within the given dates and through cheques. Only the development charges @ Rs. 250 per month was not included in the fees filled in the cheques. On enquiring the details for development charges, school administration told in person that this amount is charged from all children for construction of new auditorium. The school was not able to produce any valid documentation to justify above charges.
My complain is that how school can charge such additional charges without CBSE approval knowing that parents are alreday paying 25% fee hike for their ward. On seraching the school website, self found that in the fee structure given there shows nil development charges. Now, school is telling not to upgrade my wards in next class if devlopment charges are not submitted.
