Dear sir/mam
I took admission in New Delhi Institute of management (a branch of ngo THE SOCIETY FOR EMPLOYMENT AND CAREER COUNSELLING) in 2011 for PGDM. I paid full fee (Rs 330000) in 2 installement a month before commencement of session. I tried very hard to explain the institute to be reasonable and since my financial condition is not that strong, to convert my fees into installments throughout the year. A large amount at the starting of the session had put enormous strain on my family’s financial position. Later, on 18th of september i informed the college through email that due to financial hardship and enormous stress on my family, i won’t be able to continue my education further in their college and so i asked them to refund my fee with appropriate deductions wherever necessary. I carried on sending them mails relentlessly. Till now, I have not received any reply yet and the front desk doesn’t even transfer my calls further to the director saying he is busy. The college is conducting admissions still and i am sure they won’t have any problem filling the vacant seats. Also, i am ready to be penalised since i have asked for a refund so late but my question is that, how fair is it that an institute can ask the whole fee amount for 1st year and not semester wise even before starting of the session.
Thanks and regards
