I approached AIM multimedia for joining a course in Adobe flash. I enquired 2 to 3 times with the counseller, that I need to learn Adobe flash with Action script (advanced level). I was assured that. So I paid Rs 1000 for the initial amount (I had that much at that time). Once the i was received the receipt, I asked to start the class at the same time, then I was allowed to meet a panel and they questioned me that "Do you know JAVA script" i said NO. then they replied, it is not possible to learn Action script without knowledge of JAVA.
I asked them, Why i was not asked this question, before paying the Rs. 1000.?
Then I was told that " couseller commited to you that the course is only Adobe flash and not action script", then I was promised to get some solution after meeting the director. But it took 3 days and after meeting him. the reply is the same.
I could not argue because i dont have the proof, because that institute has not given the syllabus but give simply, Adobe flash, or some title only.
So don't simply believe on the pamphlets and other details of counsellers words, ask them to send a mail about the course syllabus and fees etc. If you join then you cannot claim the syllabus according to the standard required in the market, you will receive the answer " This is the syllabus and you have to train your self to know more" For this we can use the help option in the respective softwares to know the tools functionalities.
My course fee is Rs. 10, 000 but i paid only 1000. So i saved 9, 000. still I need to alert the younsters, specially the school going students and their parents.
