I will share my experience with manchester overseas consultants honestly, so that it will help future students.
I joined G.R.E coaching in Manchester coimbatore in 2011 (Fees Rs 10, 000), The coaching is very poor, horrible is the correct word. Even a local bank coaching centers in coimbatore will teach you better aptitude and english. The guy who teaches in manchester doesnt even know the structure of revised G.R.E, out of 3 hours class, he teaches for about 15 min, rest of the time he will brag about himself. I promise you if you study on your own you will get good marks. All info and practice tests are available on the internet. Dont get fooled because they have a library and a computer lab, both are useless.
Next important thing is selecting universities for your graduate studies. (For those who are studying this, remember graduate studies is a very important step in your life, you are going to spend a lot of money, so selecting a good university is very very important.) After getting my G.R.E (306) TOEFL (95) marks i do not know what to do and where to search good universities, so I went to manchester, gave my marks, They forced me to enroll and i did by paying them Rs 2000. They said it will cost 60, 000 rs for applying 6 U.S universities. (Rs 2000 is just to enroll). And they gave me a list of universities (Portland state university, Wichita state unversity, Buffalo, Etc). At that time i do not know about any of that universities, i went home. After some research on the internet i came to know about universities. I put that list he gave me on Edulix Website, and immediately many senoir students in edulix advised me not to apply to those universities manchester suggested. I went to manchester and asked them to apply for 2 universities i wish (Missouri S&T and UTD). That Manchester Guy said to me " You cant even get near to those universities". So i decided to apply on my own. Now I got admit both in Missouri and UTD. I am going to attend Missouri S&T (2012 FALL). The Manchester Guy will just apply for super safe universities and will get you admission very easily.
So guys dont be so ignorant and stupid to join in overseas consultants. Wasting money is not the important factor, but they will admit you in a low class universities that you dont deserve. Because they have tie up with those universities. Use websites like M.S in U.S and Edulix for selecting universities and studying. And one more thing, It will cost you maximum of about Rs 25, 000 to apply for 6 universities in the U.S if you apply yourself. So be clever, Dont mess with your life...
