We booked a 290 Ltr Refrigerator with Bansal Electrovision, Raheja Mall, Sohna Road, Gurgaon on April24'2011. ON April 26, a defective piece was delivered at my house. After a struggle, the defect was accepted and agreed to replace the same. The new piece delievred next day aslo had defect.
Complint was registered with LG Office in Gurgoan and they deputed their representative to verify the defect and assurance was given to replace the defective piece the next dayi.e. April28'2011.There was no action and even LG officials were not answering the Phone Call. On apersonal visit to their office, the commitment was made for delivery & demonstration. Again the commitments were not honored.
Due to repaeted failures, I decided to cancel the order and demanded following:
1. Refund of money with one week innterest
2. Rent for the premises occupied by defective refrigerators
According to LG officials, they required one week time for arrnging refund. After strong protest, refund of amount paid was received thru Cheque and they collected one Refrigerator from my House.
During May2 ~7, we requseted staff at Bansal Electrovision, Raheja Mall to collect defective Ref. from My House. No action taken. On a personal visit to outlet on May8, somebody spoke to me about collection of this refrigerator & used abusive language.
A mail was again sent to Bansal Electrovision & LG with request to:
- Ensure delivery of Ref. which is 100% in good condition
- Offer a price considering my room has been occupied by defectice Ref.
We were advised to visit the Dealer outlet. We visited outlet and were told that the model is out of stock and will take few days. There is no response even after two weeks.
Now, one of the LG official has alleged that I am using Ref. which has not been paid for is being used by me without knowing the facts.
LG and Thier Dealer have failed in meeting the Service Requirements and the defectice ref. lying at my premises is causing frustration and harrassment.
Since, they hace expressed thier inability to deliver 100% OK product against the payment, they may be directed to pay RS. 5000/- towards Harrassment, Mental Agony and using my house and godown for defective Ref. for over a month now. THis amount should increse @ 100/ per day hence forth.
