Dear Readers,

On 14/02, I went to Bigc Show room, KPHB to purchase a mobile. I asked the sales guys to show me nokia basic models. I am about to buy Nokia FM Music phone. That cunning sales guy showed me Celkon 567 piece and all its feature. At the first look, every body likes the phone. I bought that for Rs 3100. Sales guy told meif you get any problem, you have to contact celkon support people (9052345678). I played with all features of phones. When I am playing FM music, lot of heat emited from the mobile front and back panels. Once cannot hold the mobile with hand in that situation. Immediately I called celkon customer care, they told me to reach celkon servicing centre, mehidipatam. I went to Mehidipatnam serviceing centre, they have given DOA. You can use DOA to exchange the mobile with another one.

I went to Bigc, KPHB again with DOA and talked to Farooq (9885551888), manager. He told that you can exchange with another Celkon 567. After a lot of discussion, he said you can exchange with Nokia/Samsung with an additional amount of Rs 500. Just think of their cunning business techniques. They asked me again to go for Celkon 747 instead of loosing money. So I have bought Celkon 747 worth of Rs 4500 . I paid Rs 1400 and remianing (RS 3100 of C 567) came from DOA. I have tested all the features of C747 in the shop and users of mobile does not have any problem.

After a couple of days of usage, every body that I called using this mobile and every body that called me on this mobile got a lot of annoying noise. When I contacted Celkon call centre, they said it is a mike problem and you have to goto service centre. Thrice I went to Celkon servicing centre. But servicing guy Manohar (9030645123) tried repalcing the mike, updating the software (which changed IMEI number). But none of those attempts fixed the problem. Unnessarily I wasted my 10 lites of diesel to travel from Nanakramguda, gacchibowli to Mehidipatnam (16Km). Finally He said handover the mobile to BigC KPHB people and they will take care.

I hand over to Bigc servicng guy Venu (9985803888). These people taken around a week and but did not fixed the problem. Finnaly Farooq, Bigc KPHB manager after talking to Narendra, Head of Bigc ready to exchange the mobile with nokia/other. He said I am going to lose the VAT paid (Around Rs 200) for Celkon 747 and come on next day to exchang for celkon 747.

did a research and found that Nokia 5230 is a good one to buy. On 13/03, I went to shop and given celkon box and confirmed a money of Rs 4300. Junk guys deducted a money of Rs 200 for VAT paid. I asked for Nokia 5230. They said it is Rs 9000. I called Bigc, Ameerpet and asked for price. They said the price is Rs 8390 including VAT. Immediately, I have involved Farooq in that conversation. This Farooq talked to Bigc, Ameetpet and that Bigc immediately change his words. He said Rs 8390 with our VAT. So Farooq added a VAT of 4% and finally price came Rs 8700. I have asked for any gifts are there. That junk guy told me they are no gifts even though there is. On monday 15/03, Bigc given a paper ad stating Rs4999 worth Rebok glasses along with Nokia 5230. I asked these guys where is my Reabok glasses and they said the offer started from 15/03. After contacting the Bigc call center, I came to know the offer is existing from January.

Farooq, Bigc kukatpally manager told me out of 10 mobiles, only 2 original and remianing 8 are from chennai. I do have all the statements recorded on phone.

So Beware of cunning Bigc mobiles.
