Cannot access internet via GPRS

Im using nokia 5130 xpressmuzik fon... with bsnl prepaid connection... i hav got the GPRS settings as sms from the service provider.. and even after manual settings i'm unable to access the internet: it says " Service Not supported, Link not available." why is it so?
