Denial of warranty services

I purchased this hot plate heater from a dealer named Lakshmi Home Appliances, Jakkur Layout, Amruthalli, Bangalore on 27/3. at the time of purchase i was assured 1 year warranty on the heater element. but on 08/08 the heater stopped working and i took it to the dealer as written in the warranty card. but the dealer refused to take it to the manufacturer for warranty services. he told he has not given any warranty on the heater element. when asked on which part he gave me warranty then.. he refused to tell that either. when i showed the warranty card and the package whereupon it was clearly written warranty for the element he started to turn nasty. he started using rude words and all. i even asked for the phone no. of the service centre of the manufacturer... but he didn't give it on purpose. so i am really frustrated by this kind of attitude from a dealer. please look into the matter and provide assistance. my phone no. is 08867041536
